When I first started listening to this song I was in the middle of a dreary work assignment, my eyes half-closed, brain almost fully disengaged. My fingertips clacked away at the keyboard like pigeons snapping at bread crumbs on a dirty sidewalk. You could measure a perfect curve based on the incline of my slouching spine. I was practically comatose.
Then my toe moved. Tap, tap, tap. The infectious beat swarmed to my heel, dragging my entire foot under. Up my leg, into my knee. Bounce, bounce, bounce. Into my hips, which swiveled in my seat, up into my chest, which thumped to the beat. My whole body grooved until the song was complete.
It was really weird.
