Rizzoli & Isles: Season 27 Plot Synopses – Part 4

Episode 12: “They’re Gr-r-reat!”

In a shocking twist, Isles spots her face and body transplanted high school boyfriend in a restaurant, calmly eating lunch with another woman as if he didn’t die in a stadium explosion. Isles is super upset because this probably means he doesn’t love her after all. Later, Rizzoli aggressively interrogates the perp she shot last episode, even though disgruntled black police sergeant George Jefferson explicitly tells her to stay out of it. Nerdy Asian Patrick Spleen googles “murderer/serial killer” and discovers that the man everyone has been looking for is actually a woman. Everyone agrees that it’s pretty weird that a woman could do something so heinous as murder and kill people, especially when there are dishes to be washed and children to be raised. The characters spend the rest of the episode discussing a woman’s place in the household and also attending a Pentecostal baptism and voting for Mitt Romney in an effort to raise ratings in the Bible Belt.

Episode 13: “This is the Season Finale”

Isles confronts her face and body transplanted high school boyfriend in an abandoned warehouse during this four hour season finale blow-out blockbuster extravaganza. Rizzoli drives through a wall just in time to stops Isles from making a mistake with the face and body transplanted high school boyfriend, although it’s unclear just what that mistake would have been because Isles and the face and body transplanted high school boyfriend immediately begin fucking on the hood of the car. Rizzoli watches the entire hour-and-a-half sex scene and sends a text to nerdy Asian Patrick Spleen about how weird Isles’ O-face is. Nerdy Asian Patrick Spleen is so excited to receive a text from Rizzoli that he calls off his engagement with disgruntled black police sergeant George Jefferson. Disgruntled black police sergeant George Jefferson is so upset about the called-off engagement that he goes to the grave site of his dead wife and digs up her body with his bare hands and eats her partially putrefied corpse. In the throes of some kind of cannibalism induced acid trip, disgruntled black police sergeant George Jefferson realizes that nerdy Asian Patrick Spleen discovered the identity of the murderer/serial killer in the previous episode and everyone forgot to go make the arrest. Rizzoli and Isles both realize this fact at the same time, as if they are somehow physically linked to disgruntled black police sergeant George Jefferson. The season ends with Rizzoli and Isles making astonished eye contact through the car windshield while Isles’ face and body transplanted high school boyfriend pulls out of Isles with a weird suction noise and asks if she wants to maybe go get some Chinese food or something.
