I’ve never seen such detailed interplay of light and dark as in David Klamen’s “Interiors” series. He seems to have discovered an entirely new range of hues for black and blue. Filip Dujardin’s “Fictions” series creates astonishing and unlikely feats of architecture through the magic of digital photography. The places may appear a little downtrodden, but I’m still more than eager to move in. Find more of the series (and Dujardin’s other intriguing works) here.
The scope of this painting is incredible. Scanning from character to character, the story slowly reveals itself, pages and pages of unwritten novel unfurling in my mind. Anything that causes my imagination to bloom is worth remembering.
